I have a client that said, “I want a website that has about 100 products, streaming video, 20 pages, flash animation, 3 contact forms and several high quality images just like Mr. Rock Out Louds’ website is.
And oh yeah…my budget is $100 dollars.” I will not insert what my mental response was for the sake of the children at home, let’s just say I’m not sure I spoke with them again. Needless to say they had no idea of what the time requirements were to provide this type of work.
So when you are dealing with designs or anything for that matter. Take a little time and do your homework. Find the professional and experience that best suits you and your needs. Also it will prepare you for the different quotes that you get and may better equip you to know when you are being over or under priced.
And don’t always go for the cheapest price. You can find deals out there on great services especially in today’s competitive market, but make sure you can see samples or get referrals from past clients before you decide to settle on a final contractor. Time your time…do your homework.
Thanks and have a Great Day!
