To express you our customers how important a motto or tagline is. It may or may not be used in every instance that you use the actual logo, but it’s still an important piece of a company’s overall goal.

The tagline and motto of a company helps to define and maintain a company’s focus. With a well thought out tagline you can see who a company feels they are and what they strive to provide for their customers. For example, Wal-Mart’s company motto or tagline is “Save Money. Live Better.” This clearly expresses to the world and themselves that they want to help people with their money and in turn make their lives better.

So take the time and figure out who you are and what you want to provide for your customer and craft a tagline that is short and effective in expressing that. It will help you maintain a good focus.

So when you are dealing with designs or anything for that matter. Take a little time and do your homework. Find the professional and experience that best suits you and your needs. Also it will prepare you for the different quotes that you get and may better equip you to know when you are being over or under priced.

And don’t always go for the cheapest price. You can find deals out there on great services especially in today’s competitive market, but make sure you can see samples or get referrals from past clients before you decide to settle on a final contractor. Time your time…do your homework.

However, color is much more impactful of us then most of us may think. Have you ever noticed how much the color “red” is used in fast food places? Well red gives the impression of motion and a fast food restaurant wants to keep it fast. You come in, place your order, and get the heck out! And do it all fast! Why? So I can have room for my next customer that I want to do the exact same thing! Ha! So when choosing colors in your design, consider the impact and feeling that the color will make on your customers.

Psychology of Black -
Black is the color of authority and power, stability and strength.

Psychology of White -
For most of the world this is the color associated with purity (wedding dresses); cleanliness (doctors in white coats) and the safety of bright light (things go bump in the night … not the bright sunshine!).

Psychology of Gray -
Gray is most associated with the practical, timeless, middle-of-the-road, solid things in life.

Psychology of Red -
If you want to draw attention, use red. It is often where the eye looks first. Red is the color of energy.

Psychology of Blue -
Ask people their favorite color and a clear majority will say blue. Much of the world is blue (skies, seas).

Psychology of Green -
The color of growth, nature, and money. A calming color also that’s very pleasing to the senses.

Psychology of Yellow -
Cheerful yellow the color of the sun, associated with laughter, happiness and good times.

Psychology of Orange -
The most flamboyant color on the planet! It’s the color tied most this fun times, happy and energetic days, warmth and organic products.

Psychology of Purple -
What color were the robes of kings and queens? Yes, they were purple, our most royal color that is associated with wealth, prosperity, rich sophistication.

Psychology of Brown -
This color is most associated with reliability, stability, and friendship.
